Preview bag

When you add a garment to the bag, the site uses session storage named awear-preview-bag to remember the design, size, colour, quantity and provisional charity choice. This supports the bag function you request. It is stored in your browser, not submitted as an order.

Session storage normally lasts for the browsing session. Some browsers can restore it when a session is reopened. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes saved selections. Blocking storage may prevent the preview bag from working.

Community demonstration

The current community demonstration does not save a vote in browser storage. A selection is only used to display a demonstration response on the current page and is not submitted to A-wear. An older version saved a value named awear-preview-vote; the current version no longer reads or writes it. You can clear any older value using your browser’s site-data settings.

Cookies and other technologies

Browser storage is covered by similar rules to cookies. Our preview application uses the bag storage described above. We are checking hosting-level technologies separately, so this notice is not a claim that the entire hosting service sets no cookies.
