Who is responsible
Jonathan Nicholson trading as A-wear is the controller of personal information used to operate this website and answer enquiries.
The current website
There is no working checkout or customer account service. The preview bag stores product choices on your device for the browsing session. The community demonstration does not transmit your selection to us. The collaboration tool prepares a draft locally; copying the draft to your clipboard does not send it. If you subsequently email us, we receive the information you choose to send.
Enquiries
When you email us, we use your email address, message and any information you supply to respond. Where you ask about a possible purchase, this may involve steps you request before entering a contract. For other enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding and managing correspondence. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.
Website delivery and security
Website and email service providers process technical information needed to deliver those services. This can include IP addresses, request times, requested pages and technical error information. Our purpose is to operate and protect the website and email service, relying on our legitimate interests in service reliability and security.
Sharing and retention
Hosting and email providers handle information needed to provide their services. We may also disclose relevant information where required by law. We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry, related follow-up and any legal record-keeping or dispute requirements; we then delete it when no longer needed.
We are reviewing our hosting provider’s technical log retention and any processing outside the UK. This notice will be updated when those details are confirmed. Contact us if you need more information about a particular use of your data.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights are subject to applicable legal conditions.
